Tailoring

Tailoring turns Camping's hides into the most quietly essential goods in the game. Bandages are the healing supply for anyone who fights, bags are the difference between an organised pack and a mess, and the elemental cloaks are the only real answer to the Fire and Ice dungeons. It is also where Animal Tackle comes from, which no tamer can work without.

How you train it Stitch at a Tailor's Kit. Bandages are the cheap repetitive climb; the bigger goods are where the material cost bites.
What you need An active Tailor's Kit and leather. The rarest recipes want Pristine Leather on top.

Leather tiers

Rarer hide is its own gate: a recipe you can already sew still refuses the better leather until your Tailoring reaches its tier.

Animal Tackle is here too — no tamer can attempt a tame without one, and it wears through with use.

Light Patches are sewn onto a cloak by dragging the patch onto it, and widen your circle of light in the dark — up to +200% at Diamond. Only the brightest patch on a cloak counts: a brighter one replaces it, a dimmer one is refused and nothing is spent. The patch lives on the cloak, so it goes wherever the cloak does.
